Rotini Pasta a la Jamonada

  • 1 cup rotini pasta
1. In a pot with boiling water pour salt, a little bit of oil and add the pasta Rotini. Stir continuously. 
  • ½ tomato
2. Once cooked, remove from water and reserve. 
  • ½ onion
3. Cut the Jamonada Don Pedro, tomato and onion in large pieces
  • ½ cup of white vinegar
4. In a small bowl mix the vinegar, olive oil, mustard and salt. (This is the vinaigrette)
  • 1 tbs of mustard
5. In a hot pan fry the Jamonada Don Pedro, onion and tomato for one minute
  • 2 tbs of salt
6. Add the previously prepared vinaigrette and cook until almost dry. 
  • 2 tbs of olive oil
7. Once cooked, mix the cooked Jamonada Don Pedro with the Rotini pasta
  • ½ Lb. shredded cheese
8. Sprinkle the shredded cheese for an additional touch and serve.
  • ½ Lb. of Jamonada Don Pedro.
